Vectra Virtuoso - Expert Grade Invisible Thread

Vectra Virtuoso is the most invisible of the Vectra threads.  It is also the most delicate but still surprisingly strong.  It's able to hold a credit card or drivers license with ease.

This thread can be used in a wide variety of lighting conditions, just INCHES from the noses of your audience!

Virtuoso has an ultra-smooth texture.  Unlike other fibers that are kinky and springy, Virtuoso fibers are straight but twisted just enough to hold together and make it manageable during stripping.  You will feel the difference the first time the thread slides across your skin or fingernail.  It feels as smooth as silk, and the smoothness translates into your work.

Virtuoso has a precise amount of elasticity which acts as a shock absorber, improving your levitations by eliminating small jerks or shakiness.  You can actually flick the line while floating something and the levitating object will stay still.  Where other lines amplify your mistakes, Virtuoso corrects them.  Live, in real time.

Virtuoso's elasticity is not to be confused with "springiness".  A kinky or heavily twisted thread behaves like a spring.  Riggings for theatrical levitation have utilized an elastic, attaching it to the levitation wire in order to remove bounces from the performer and smooth out their flight.  Of course the degree of elasticity must be perfect. It is with Virtuoso.

And of course Virtuoso is Virtually Invisible, perfect for extremely up close and personal performances.

(Watch a full performance using the Virtuoso thread)

With just the right tint Virtuoso readily absorbs light from throughout the spectrum, including natural light.  Combine that with lessened reflectivity due to a straight-edged profile, and we see Virtuoso outperforming even our famous John Haar brand thread.  We invite you to try it for yourself and see if you agree.

Do you have the skills to work with the finest, most invisible stuff out there?

Do you value control more than convenience?

If you answered YES, then Vectra Virtuoso is the thread for you.

Vectra Virtuoso arrives as a multi-filament thread which is easily separated into fibers that are virtually invisible.  Your package will include a link to an online video with basic handling instructions.  Although a beginner can work with this thread, it is very delicate when compared to the other threads in the Vectra series.  If you are new to thread work you may find the original Vectra Line to be much easier to work with and less likely to break, making your learning more enjoyable overall.

But if you have a bit of experience with thread work and are ready to take it to the next level by exploring some of the more extreme lighting and close-up performance situations then Vectra Virtuoso is exactly what you're looking for.

You receive well over 500 feet of unstripped thread.  With dozens of fibers in the strand, this means a LOT of thread.

BONUS!  Order now and you'll receive a sample of Stealth Black Master Wax  and a sample of the amazing Flesh Colored Master Wax absolutey FREE!  Just one tiny pellet of this amazing wax can hold the full weight of TWO decks of playing cards!  Fearson's Master Wax is the strongest workable magician's wax available, a must for high-end thread work.

This is the most invisible thread I have ever used. Great product, it's not elastic/spring-like the E-Z strip so it's more "forgivable" and the levitation is more smooth. It is a little bit "harder" to strip, but once you know how to work with IT it's the best option for light objects in my opinion.

Until now I did everything with wooly nylon. If you can handle wooly nylon well - this thread is the best you can purchase. It is a bit stronger than wooly nylon AND much more invisible. And the best part - stripping this thread is much more easier than with wooly nylon. This is not important if you use small pieces of thread but it gets realy handy if you want to strip very long threads. I replace the lines in my reels with this one and so easy stripping is a nice addon! Thank you for this thread! It rocks :)

I am a great fan of every kind of Vectra thread. I am always looking for strength and invisibility. Often you get one and not the other. But Vectra is great, and Vectra Virtuoso is real professional grade IT. It is not only invisible and strong, but has other features that make levitations smooth. I highly recommend it. I hope they never stop making it.

Vectra Virtuoso is THE invisible thread to use. You'll crush magicians that use invisible thread because even they can't see it. Spectators don't even have a chance!

Having purchased this a while ago (to be exact: June 24, 2013) I've had more than enough time to experiment with this thread. I've been doing levitation for about 5-6 years now and have used various threads such as W.N., Copin's, John haar's as well as a few others. When my 500 feet of Vectra Virtuoso came in the mail, I eagerly opened it and stripped a piece for my flying card hook up. Man... THIS STUFF IS THE HOLY GRAIL OF INVISIBLE THREAD AND I'M NOT EXAGGERATING!!! It's hard to believe that anything could be more invisible than the previous threads mentioned, but take my word for it! YOU WON'T GET CAUGHT DOING THREAD WORK, EVER! FORGET LIGHTING CONDITIONS! I MEAN IT!!! JUST FORGET ABOUT THEM! TAKE WHAT YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT THREAD WORK AND START OVER AGAIN! I'm usually very cautious with my lighting while using other types of threads; hence I have NEVER been caught whenever I do thread work (unless I choose to share the workings which I have, to a very few individuals whom I c

I got hooked up with some quality Vectra samples. It is as advertised and definitely worth checking out. The support and care with which eMagicSupply fills orders is second to none. They really hooked me up with enough of more than one kind of thread and wax to make my decisions on what works best for me. The whole deck of cards needing two points of the hookup should probably be stated more clearly though on the featured video instead of the ones that come with the thread.

It was a GREAT thread, best for invisibility and I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT FLOATING HEAVY OBJECTS ANYMORE,I JUST WANT TO FLOAT CARDS AND OTHER OBJECTS IN MY FRIEND'S FACE!!! The video with the thread was good but I wish they would show you how to use them with other devices since in the poll they asked how does the thread work with other devices however I couldn't figure out how to use it with the Tarantula and Spider Pen Pro :l Overall it was amazing but I wish they put more detailed in the video for each uses and other floating mechanics.

you have to be a little more careful in using the thread, as it is not the strongest thread on the market. however the extra care is well worth it, as it is vertually invisible, even in close up.
