Master Wax

This is Steve Fearson's preferred blend of flesh colored magician's wax to be used specifically for thread work.

Many blends of wax are too soft for thread work allowing the thread to pull through or tear loose from the wax, resulting in an embarrasing situation.

This problem is solved with the Master Wax.  It's a hard wax with just the right amount of tackiness to stick to your thumb nail or a playing card.  What it won't do is leave a nasty mess on your clothing or residue on objects that could expose the trick.

Because it's harder, a smaller amount can be used.  And since it's flesh colored, it's more stealth-like than traditional white wax.
